One of the best things about following Hull is the away days. Some of them are class, some of them are awful, and some are so random they stick with you forever.
My top away grounds following the Tigers:
St James' Park. Newcastle is just an incredible ground. 52,000 capacity built into the middle of a city centre. Walking up to it is an experience in itself. We got battered 4 1 the time I went but I didn't even care because the ground was that impressive. The city is great for a night out too.
Hillsborough. Proper old school stadium with actual character. The Kop end is enormous and even as an away fan you can appreciate the history of the place. Plus Sheffield is easy to get to from Hull which is always a bonus.
The Emirates. Say what you want about Arsenal but that stadium is something else. We went for the League Cup and even though we lost the facilities and the whole matchday experience was on another level compared to what we're used to.
Worst ground? Rotherham's old place Millmoor was grim but had character. The worst for me was probably one of those identikit new builds in League One where the ground has no soul and the town has nothing going for it. Won't name names but you know the type.
Where have you been that you'd recommend or where would you never go
back?

Craven Cottage for me. Fulham's ground is class. Right on the Thames, tiny and old school but proper charming. Had a pint in the pub by the river before the game and it felt like a completely different world from the Championship. The cottage itself literally has a cottage in the corner of the ground which is mental. We lost obviously because we always lose at Fulham but the day out was brilliant. Newcastle is probably the best overall though, totally agree with that.

Anfield. Went there in the Premier League and it was unbelievable. You'll Never Walk Alone before kick off gave me goosebumps even though I'm not a Liverpool fan. The ground is special, the atmosphere is special, the whole thing. We got hammered but I told everyone I was there. Old Trafford was similar. Just being in these iconic stadiums watching Hull City play was surreal. Those Premier League away days were once in a lifetime stuff.
