Jack Clarke is worth every penny

I know we paid decent money for Clarke but watching him this season he's been absolutely worth it. His delivery from wide areas is the best I've seen at this club in years. The cross for Vipotnik's header against Stoke was perfection.
What I really like about him is his work rate. He's not just a flair player who disappears when we haven't got the ball. He tracks back, he presses, he puts a shift in. That's the difference between a good Championship winger and a proper player.
If we go up he'll be a Premier League player no question. And if we don't I reckon someone will come in for him in the summer. Enjoy him while we've got hi

Best winger we've had since Jarrod Bowen and that's not something I say lightly. Bowen was special but Clarke is doing things this season that are genuinely Premier League quality. That left foot is a weapon. Twelve assists already and the season's not done. If he stays fit for the run in we're going up. Simple as that.

Watching Clarke in full flow is genuinely one of the best things about going to games this season. That left foot is ridiculous. The way he can whip a cross in at full speed without breaking stride is Premier League quality all day long. I said to my mate after the Bristol City game that he's the best winger I've seen at Hull since Bowen and I stand by that.

if we go up Clarke is a top flight player absolutely no question. If we don't go up someone will come in with silly money in the summer and we'll have no choice but to sell. Enjoy every game he plays for us because players this good don't hang around in the Championship forever. The goal against Middlesbrough was world class. Left foot, top corner, no backlift. Filthy.
