Right then lads, just got back from Southampton and what an away day that turned out to be!
Set off early doors Saturday morning, proper long drive down south but the coach was buzzing all the way. Few pints in Southampton before kick-off - decent little city that, fair play to 'em.
The match itself was class! 2-1 to the Tigers and we absolutely deserved it. Our lot in the away end were magnificent all game, never stopped singing. "We are top of the league" might've been pushing it a bit but the atmosphere was reyt good!
Even their gaffer said we were "dangerous" after the match - that's the kind of respect Hull City's earning these days under our manager.
Long journey home but nobody cared, did they? Three points, back in them play-off spots, and some proper memories made.
Anyone else make the trip? What did you think of St Mary's? And more importantly - who's up for the next away day?
