Evening everyone! Thought we'd have a more casual chat tonight and share our stories about how we ended up as Hull City supporters. Because let's be honest, supporting the Tigers isn't always the easiest ride, is it? But we're all here for a reason!
For some of you, it'll be straightforward - born in Hull, family were Tigers fans, it was inevitable. Fair enough! But I bet there's some interesting stories out there too. Maybe you married into it? Moved to Hull for work and got swept up in it? Randomly went to a match and got hooked? Had a favourite player who played for us?
I've always found these stories fascinating because they say a lot about why football clubs matter beyond just the ninety minutes on a Saturday. For many of us, it's about identity, community, and belonging to something bigger than ourselves. The club becomes part of your life in a way that's hard to explain to non-football fans.
There's no wrong answer here - whether you've been supporting Hull for fifty years or you're a relatively recent convert, everyone's journey is valid. Some of you might have dads or grandads who took you to Boothferry Park back in the day. Others might have discovered the club more recently and got swept up in the passion of it all.
The beautiful thing about being a football fan is that moment when you realise this club is yours, for better or worse. Through promotions and relegations, good times and bad, you're in it for life. That's quite a commitment when you think about it!
So, what's your story? How did you end up as a Hull City supporter, and was there a specific moment when you knew this was your club?

My dad took me to Boothferry Park when I was about 7. Can't even remember who we played but I remember the smell of the burgers and the noise of the crowd and I was hooked. That was back in the early 80s when we were proper rubbish but it didnt matter. Once you're in you're in and theres no getting out
Been through everything since then. Third division, nearly going out of the football league, Wembley, the Premier League, and now whatever this is. Wouldn't change it for the world even though its taken years off my life
