We've got some decent away trips in the Championship this year so thought I'd start a thread where we can share tips for anyone travelling.
Already been to a few this season. Sheffield Wednesday was quality, Hillsborough is always a good day out and there's loads of pubs near the ground. The ones on Leppings Lane are alright for away fans. Easy drive from Hull too, about an hour and a half.
Bristol City was a long trek but actually worth it. Ashton Gate has been done up nicely and Bristol itself is a great city if you make a weekend of it. Harbour area is class for food and drink.
Sunderland is always a big day out. Stadium of Light is massive and even though it's a bit soulless the city centre has some decent pubs. Plus their fans are generally alright with us which helps.
Still got some good ones to come. Anyone been to any of the away games this season? Where was good and where should people av
oid?

Went to QPR away earlier this season. Loftus Road is tiny and outdated but there's something about those old London grounds that I love. You're literally sitting on top of the pitch. Shepherds Bush is decent for pubs before the game and you can jump on the tube afterwards to go into central London. Only downside is the drive. London away days mean getting up at about 5am. Worth it though.
