I’ve been looking closely at both our fixtures and our rivals and honestly things might be lining up better than expected
First of all teams like Ipswich Millwall Middlesbrough and Derby still have to play each other. That’s massive. It means guaranteed dropped points across the board they can’t all win
That alone keeps the door open for us
Now the really interesting part is the Coventry game
By the time we face Coventry there’s a strong chance they will have already secured automatic promotion. If that happens they simply won’t treat the game as a must win. No real pressure no do or die mentality
But for us it could be everything
We will be going into that game with full intensity full motivation and potentially everything on the line
If we win that Coventry game I genuinely think automatic promotion is still within reach
It’s one of those scenarios where
Rivals take points off each other
We build momentum at the right time
And we peak exactly when it matters most
Football is all about timing and this might just be ours
