Is the Championship the most entertaining league in football?

I've been watching the Premier League on telly this season and honestly most of the games are boring. Two sides scared to lose, sitting deep, playing sideways. The big teams just pass it around for ninety minutes and win 1 0 and everyone calls it a masterclass.
Meanwhile in the Championship every game is chaos. We beat someone 4 3, lose the next one 2 1, then draw 3 3 the game after. Nobody knows what's going to happen from one week to the next. The league table changes every matchday. It's absolutely mental and I love it.
Yeah the quality isn't as high as the Premier League obviously. But entertainment? It's not even close. The Championship is box office every single weekend. The promotion race, the relegation battle, the playoff drama. There's always something riding on every game.
Part of me almost doesn't want to go up because I know the Premier League will be a survival slog where we celebrate draws against teams we've never heard of. At least in the Championship we're competitive and every Saturday is exciting.
Anyone else secretly enjoy the Championship more than they'd enjoy the Premier League?

I actually think the Championship is harder to watch as a fan because you can never relax. In the Premier League most of the big teams are pretty much safe by Christmas. In the Championship you could be in the playoffs one week and in the bottom half the next. It's exhausting. But yeah entertaining is the right word. I've never been to a dull Hull City game this season. Every one of them has had drama. The quality might be lower but the entertainment value is through the roof.

Absolutely. And I say this as someone who watches the Premier League religiously as well. The problem with the top flight is that you basically know who's going to finish in the top four before the season starts. The Championship is pure chaos. Any team can beat any other team on any given Saturday. We beat Sheffield United one week and lose to Millwall the next. It's maddening but it's never boring. The drama of the promotion race and the playoffs is better than anything the Premier League produces.
