The Scottish striker has been one of our standout performers this season. Since joining from Las Palmas in August 2025, McBurnie has quickly established himself as our main goal threat and focal point in attack.

What’s working well?
- Excellent hold-up play and link-up with Gelhardt & Millar
- Strong aerial presence (188cm)
- Clinical finishing when presented with chances
- Big-game mentality and leadership
Areas for improvement:
- Has had patches where his form dipped (including a 9-game goal drought)
- Can look a little slow at times
- Missed time through injury
Is McBurnie the signing of the season? Can we rely on him in the play-offs? Should we be looking to keep him beyond 2028?
