Me and a few mates play five a side on Sunday mornings and we're looking for a new pitch because the one we've been using at the sports centre has gone up in price again. Forty quid an hour is taking the mick for a pitch with more holes than a colander.
We've tried the Costello Stadium before and that was decent. Good surface and the changing rooms are actually clean which is a bonus. But availability on Sunday mornings is hit and miss.
Anyone know of a good outdoor pitch or cage we can use? Doesn't need to be fancy just a flat surface with goals that still have nets. And ideally somewhere with parking because we've all got kit bags and nobody wants to carry them half a mile.
Alternatively if anyone wants to join a casual kickabout with a bunch of average thirty somethings who think they're better than they are, we're always looking for extra bodies. No commitment, just turn up and play. All welcome including people who are actually good because we could use the help.
