After the QPR humiliation, we needed a response. And we got one — eventually. Because this wasn't clean, this wasn't comfortable, and at 2–2 just before half-time it absolutely could have gone either way.
Elder's own goal inside 9 minutes. Great. Here we go again. Derby level it through Forsyth, McBurnie pulls us ahead, Szmodics equalises right before the break — 2–2 at half-time and the MKM was on edge.
We came out sharper, hungrier, and more clinical. Egan — a CENTRE BACK — making a run into the box and burying it in the corner on 75 minutes. Brilliant. Koumas sealing it with four minutes to go, chest control, volley, top corner. Job done.
4–2. Three points. Back to winning ways.
