The missus wants to start going to car boot sales on Sunday mornings and I've been dragged into it. Not going to lie though the last one we went to near Hessle was actually quite good. Found a decent set of spanners for two quid and some old Hull City programmes from the 90s.
We used to go to the one at the old sugar mill years ago but I don't know if that's still running. The one at Walton Street seems to pop up now and then as well.
Where are the regular ones around Hull and East Yorkshire? Looking for ones with a good mix of stuff, not just broken toys and someone's nan's curtain

The one at Beverley Racecourse is probably the best around here. Massive site, loads of stalls, and a real mix of stuff from genuine antiques to complete tat. Gets going early though so you need to be there for about seven if you want first pick. The breakfast van does a cracking bacon roll too which is half the reason I go.

There's a good one at the showground on Walton Street that runs most Sundays through spring and summer. It's not massive but I've found some brilliant kids toys and clothes there for next to nothing. My daughter got a box of Lego for a quid last time which kept her busy for about three weeks. For that alone it was worth getting up early on a Sunday.
