Window's shut and we ended up with Gelhardt on loan from Leeds, Koumas from Liverpool, and a couple of others. On paper it's a decent window. Gelhardt has been class since he arrived and Koumas scored on his debut which is always a good sign.
But I can't help feeling we needed a left back and didn't get one. We've been papering over the cracks in that position all season and at some point it's going to cost us. A promotion push with a converted midfielder playing left back is a risk.
The Gelhardt loan is the big one though. If he stays fit he's going to be the difference between playoffs and missing out. He's got that bit of quality that can unlock a tight game. The goal against Preston was ridiculous, turned on a sixpence and buried it in the far corner.
Overall I'd give the window a seven out of ten. Good attacking additions but we ignored an obvious weakness. Here's hoping it doesn't bite us.
