What Is Your Favourite Hull City Memory?

Every football fan has that one moment they will never forget. That moment where everything just felt perfect – the noise, the tension, the celebrations, and the feeling that you were part of something special.

For Hull City supporters, there have been quite a few incredible moments over the years. We might not be the biggest club in England, but the memories we share as Tigers fans are just as powerful as any other club.

One moment that immediately comes to mind for many fans is the day at Wembley in 2008. When Dean Windass hit that famous volley against Bristol City in the Championship play-off final, the whole city seemed to explode with joy. That goal secured Hull City's first ever promotion to the Premier League after more than a century of history. For many supporters, it was the greatest moment they had ever experienced watching the Tigers.

Another unforgettable moment was the 2014 FA Cup run. Seeing Hull City walk out at Wembley for an FA Cup Final was something most supporters never thought they would see in their lifetime. Going 2–0 up against Arsenal in the final felt like a dream. Even though the game eventually ended 3–2 after extra time, it was still one of the proudest days in the club’s history and a day many fans will never forget. 1

But memories aren’t always about trophies or finals. Sometimes it’s the smaller moments that stay with you. A last-minute winner at the MKM Stadium. An away day with thousands of travelling Tigers fans. That first match you ever attended with your dad, your mates, or your kids.

For older supporters, memories of Boothferry Park still hold a special place in the heart. The atmosphere there was something unique and it shaped the identity of Hull City supporters for generations.

Personally, some of my favourite moments are those matchdays where the whole stadium is bouncing and everyone is singing together. The feeling of unity among Tigers fans is something that makes supporting this club so special.

Now I’m curious to hear from other supporters here.

What is your favourite Hull City memory?

Was it Windass at Wembley in 2008?

Was it the FA Cup run in 2014?

Maybe a special away day, a derby win, or the first match you ever attended?
