The problem with January windows is you're always buying under pressure. Teams know you're desperate so prices go up. I think the club tried to get a left back and either couldn't afford the asking price or got gazumped by someone else. That's the reality of being a Championship club without Premier League money. You don't always get who you want. The attacking signings were smart though and if Gelhardt stays fit he's worth the entire window on his own. Koumas is one for the future.
