Typical Hull City that, isn't it.
We rock up to a club on the worst night of their existence, Leicester getting relegated to League One in front of their own fans, and we still manage to bottle three points. Millar put us ahead early, took advantage of a shocking mistake from their keeper, and honestly it felt like we were coasting.
Second half was a different story. James equalised almost straight from kick off, Thomas put them ahead before most of us had even processed the first goal, and suddenly the away end goes quiet. McBurnie got us back to 2-2 and fair play to him, that mattered. But the real damage was happening somewhere else entirely.
Oxford. One Josh Windass goal. Wrexham above us on goal difference.
I know people will panic but just look at the fixtures. We've got Charlton away and Norwich at home. Wrexham have got Coventry and Middlesbrough. If we win our games we're in the playoffs, simple as that. Their run in is a nightmare compared to ours.
Drameh's season is over by the way. Quad injury. As if we needed more defensive problems.
Anyway. Still in our hands. That's all that matters.
Playoff Picture after 44 games:
5th Middlesbrough 73 pts
6th Wrexham 70 pts (+5 GD)
7th Hull City 70 pts (+4 GD)
8th Derby County 66 pts

A season of two halves. Scoring goals for fun before Christmas. Huffed and puffed since then. Just not being ruthless enough despite being on top for large portions of games. We're seventh for a reason!

But I still think we'll smash Charlton and Norwich... and win the playoffs ;)
