For those of us who were lucky enough to follow Hull in the Premier League, those away days were something else. Going to grounds we'd only ever seen on TV and watching our lot play against the best teams in the country.
My standout was Old Trafford. I'd watched Manchester United on telly my whole life like everyone else and then suddenly I was there watching Hull City play against them. Walking up to the ground, seeing the size of it, taking your seat and just thinking how on earth did we end up here. We lost but honestly I couldn't have cared less. The experience was everything.
Arsenal at the Emirates was similar. Everything about the place is pristine. The concourses, the food, the legroom. Coming from League One grounds a few years earlier it was like landing on another planet.
The best result was probably beating Arsenal at home in that first season but for pure away day experience the London trips were incredible. Chelsea, Tottenham when they were at White Hart Lane, West Ham at Upton Park before it got knocked down. Each one felt special because you knew it might never happen again.
For those who did the Premier League away days, which was your favour
